Gaming in a good cause
What is Gameathon?
Gameathon is a project to raise money for the "Big Night In" - New Zealand's 2009 Telethon which will be fund raising for the KidsCan Charitable Trust.
As the name suggests the idea is to get a whole lot of people to play games and contribute money to the cause, not necessarily in that order.
Join Gameathon to demonstrate your support and register events or pledges.

Why be involved with Gameathon?

2. It's a day or weekend of gaming
3. Three weeks out from the expected date of Buckets of Dice, it's a great opportunity to playtest your scenario
2. Turn up to a Gamethon event and play (and pony up some cash)
3. Organise a game and collect contributions
4. Offer your place as a venue for games to be run
5. Pledge an amount for every game run in your area / in the country
6. Volunteer to co-ordinate events/collections in your area
7. ??? Your idea here
* Tabletop Roleplaying games
* War Games
* We could even stretch to LAN games :)
* Any other games that seem appropriate
